Furacilin is a well-known antimicrobial drug (international name - nitrofural). The medicine penetrates into the microbial cell and inhibits its division. Active against many known gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including streptococci, staphylococci, and E. coli.

In newborns and children in the first year of life, furatsilin is often used to wash the eyes. The drug is recognized as completely safe for babies and can be used from birth. Preparation of the solution
